Letter to Pastor David Jones
Request for 'Angel Feather'
Christian Research Service believes that in light of 1 Thessalonians 5:21-22 and 1 John 4:1, when professing Christians make a claim, they should be ready, willing, and able to validate their claims and provide proof. If their claims are true, they have nothing to fear from public scrutiny.
The following letter was e-mailed to Pastor David Jones of the House of Praise Church in Katy, Texas, and was followed up with the same letter on November 15, 2008. Both letters were e-mailed to three different accounts. With the exception of automatic replies (see example below), as of this writing there has been no reply from Pastor Jones.

Dear Pastor Jones:
I have spent a considerable amount of time reviewing your church website, in particular the photos of "angel feathers" on the "Signs & Wonders" page at
The statement on the Signs & Wonders page reads in part that:
We are believing in faith this page will give all Honor and Glory to Almighty God, for his kingdom showing his supernatural glory to share with the world in these last days. The sudden appearances of angel feathers, gold dust, gem stones, rubies, diamonds and healing miracles which are taking place; for such a time as this!
We corporately agree, the evidence photos posted below on this page will encourage millions of souls across this nation, and will minister to people across the nation a renewed sense of hope and spiritual strength to what Almighty God is doing in 2007.
"THE EVIDENCE" photos of a "DIAMOND GEMSTONE" and nine photos of "ANGEL FEATHERS" of various sizes, shapes, and colors appear after the statement.
The last paragraph of your "Praise Worthy NEWS" page states in part:
Lastly, throughout these past services the Lord manifested His Glorious Power as He willed and blessed individuals with diamonds, and countless of Angel Feathers! [ http://tinyurl.com/NewsAngelFeathers ]
Pastor Jones, I am requesting one of the feathers for scientific analysis. Please be assured that the feather will be handled with the utmost care, and will be promptly returned after a thorough examination by a qualified expert.
This is not a joke or a prank, but a serious request. If you would like to speak to me about this, I will be glad to contact you by phone. Should you agree to my request, my mailing address will be promptly provided.
Please know that this letter, comments on your reply, and the results of the scientific analysis on the feather will be published on my website.
