CRS Racing is adding another string to its bow in 2009 with the announcement that it will run two cars in the FIA GT3 European Championship, subject to final approval from the FIA.  This is a brand new challenge for the team that already races two GT2 Ferraris in the main FIA GT Championship.

“We’re very excited about doing FIA GT3,” said Team Director, Andrew Kirkaldy. “We’re going for a newly-homologated car which will be one of the most competitive out there in 2009. Although very few people knew about our plans before today we have already had interest from drivers. Once we have spoken to everyone interested we can work on making sure our pairings are competitive and capable of winning the Championship.”
