Stelios ends contract with Hull

Stelios Giannakopoulos wants to play for Greece in the 2010 World Cup

Former Bolton midfielder Stelios Giannakopoulos has left Hull to return to Greek football with Larissa.

The 34-year-old was a favourite at Bolton and played 137 games for the club between 2003-08.

He joined Hull in September in the hope of resurrecting his international career, but failed to make an impact and started only one match.

Stelios is still hopeful of adding to his 77 international caps for Greece, the first of which came in 1997.
