I wonder how many people will sue Nintendo when they realise Wii Fit doesn't actually help much if you're trying to lose weight. This is astounding to me. Still, I seem to recall Nintendo saying something themselves about 'evergreen games' - guess they were bang on the money... Wii Fit Call of Duty: World at War The Lord of Rings: Conquest FIFA 09 Wii Play Need for Speed: Undercover Mario and Sonic at they Olympic Games Guitar Hero: World Tour Carnival: Funfair Games Dr. Kawashima's Brain Training
Jebus! I think ill need to invest in some Nintendo stocks and shares  . They are only going to get even bigger next year. You could almost guess the charts nowadays. Seriously, who is still buying Wii play and Mario & Sonic @ the Olympic games? If you currently do no excercise then Wiifit could help quite a bit with loosing some pounds. Some of the games really are quite active.
However I would like to know where on earth they are buying it from as I still can't find anywhere with stock! i've lost a couple pounds on wii fit.
The sit ups and press up challenges are bloody grueling. it keeps going untill you collapse.
However there are much better games to use the balance board for. skate it and raving rabbids tv to name a couple.
Arse controls and a skate game that actually feels like you're on a board. can't be bad. I would put Wii Play purely down to the free controller you get with it.
As for Wii Fit. It does work like WHERESMYMONKEY pointed out. It's all about doing the exercises properly and actually applying yourself correctly. My mate lost a stone from using it.
I could do with getting something that uses my Balance board apart from just Wii Fit. that's a shit load of landfill... Someone should really ban Nintendo from making such polluting hardware that, lets be honest, will be gathering dust in about 2 months after purchase. Some days I am proud to be British. Some I'm not. I use the wii fit a lot and so does my family. Ok so it might not do great wonders for everyone but it gets you started on the road to it and it is a bit of fun whilst also getting active. Nintendo never said it would work miracles and transform someone who is 25 stone to 10 stone but it is a helping hand on the road to that ideal weight.
Also I would like to point out that I myself have noticed a lot of difference already especially for the balance and the muscle toning. Exactly, it's basically a controller with a few so so games for an extra fiver. It was fine by me, over the two years since I bought it, I've got plenty of fun out the games - albeit in 10/15 minute bursts. Which is the great thing about the wii.
And I've said it before, if someone buys a wii now they have a pretty good catalogue of games to work through assuming they don't buy them all at once. At least enough until decent games start rolling out again, hopefully starting with MadWorld. Well done Nintendo for releasing games that the mass market buy. Nintendo is doing a fantastic job with an unbelievable ability to release software that the market wants and making massive profits.
Nintendo show Sony and Microsoft how it's done.
Respect. Forget about Wii Fit and Wii Play, I'm more wondering how the hell Dr. Kawashima's Brain Training is still up there and selling. How much longer will it take before everyone has a copy? |
