2 strands 16/2 cotton. Tension 6
Picture shows washcloths as they look coming off the machine. Once machine washed and machine dried, they are smaller and more compressed but surprisingly softer. Finished measurements are 12" X 12" which is the same measurements and weight as the nicer cloths are at the grocery store.
2 strand of yarn gauge 6.6 sts X 17 rows per inch.
Prewashed, they measure 14" wide X 14 ½" long
2 rows, 2 stitches
Cast on 80 sts with waste yarn and ravel cord.
E-wrap cast on over your ravel cord (2 sts on each needle)
with main yarn. Hang 3 claw weights evenly across the cast on
Program in your pattern. With carriage on the right outside the turn mark-put the KC button on KC I. Bring the carriage across to the left. (needles will select).
Push in the 2 tuck buttons and knit 18 rows tuck. (don't change
Push in the 2 part buttons (tuck buttons will turn themselves off) knit 10 rows slip
Change the Row Counter back to 0 (don't change the pattern)
Push in the 2 tuck buttons and knit 162 rows tuck (don't change the pattern)
Push in the 2 part buttons (tuck buttons will turn themselves off) knit 10 rows slip (don't change the pattern)
Push in the 2 tuck buttons and knit 17 rows tuck If carriage isn't on the left knit 1 more row.
Turn off KC button and knit 1 row to the right. Latch Tool Bind off.
