Galeras Volcano
The Galeras Volcano is located in Colombia and is part of the Andes mountain range. It erupted on January 17, 2008, causing a call for the evacuation of thousands in the surrounding area. Only around 100 heeded the order for fear of theft, and there were no major injuries reported.
