You Can Now Dance To The Sound Of Christian Bale’s Fury

There are plenty of things the Internet is great for. Like, for instance, watching zombies battling sharks underwater.

But what it’s really amazing at is taking today’s news and remixing it while it’s still today’s news — like, oh, let’s say, the f-bomb-tastic Christian Bale tirade from the set of “Terminator: Salvation” that has been lighting things up over the past 24 hours.

Not long after the rage-tastic clip was posted online, a shady character by the name of “RevoLucian” posted “Bale Out — RevoLucian’s Christian Bale Remix” on YouTube, a techno-ripping, demonic dance party in which Bale’s berating is repeated ad nauseam under pictures of the actor and random f-bomb interjections from Barbra Streisand.

The remix is pretty great. But frankly, what caught our eye was that fact that the good Rev noted that the Bale remix is just an appetizer for his big upcoming gig, producing the next RuPaul album, Champion.

And, this being the Internet, there’s some variety — there’s already a drum’n'bass remix up on YouTube, as well as a kind of ’90s electronica take. But the corker has to be a fresh tune from indie rockers the Mae Shi that’s an homage to Bale’s notorious on-set intensity, “R U Professional,” a Devo-esque slice of new wave fun that features the chorus, “Oh, whoo wow/ He is professional/ But I think he’s lost control,” intermixed with the now infamous tirade.

The on-set blowup reportedly took place in July 2008 when the director of photography on the movie, Shane Hurlbut, appeared to have inadvertently wandered into a shot, ruining a take with co-star Bryce Dallas Howard. Fox News reported that the nearly four-minute verbal beat down took place just a few days after “The Dark Knight” star was arrested and accused of assaulting his mother and sister in London; Bale was eventually cleared in the case.
