District 12 stretches from Downtown Longmont to Louisville and US-36. One portion of the district is Longmont, which was at one time considered a bedroom community, but has lately been developing a distinct character with a vibrant downtown. The other cities in this district are Lafayette, which has an awesome downtown area, at least in my opinion, and Louisville, which has grown a large amount in the 1990s during the population influx due to the Internet boom. Louisville is pronounced literally in Colorado, with the 'is' pronounced. It is not 'Louie', like the Kentucky Louisville.
