"American Idol's" bikini-clad contestant Katrina Darell got new judge Kara DioGuardi's dander up.
American Idol's "Bikini Girl," Katrina Darrell, no longer has a shot at becoming the next Idol, but she may just be the next Playboy Centerfold.
The bubbly Idol contestant showed up to her first audition wearing only a tiny orange bikini and quickly planted a kiss on host Ryan Seacrest, but was cut from the show Wednesday following the Hollywood auditions, the New York Daily News reported.
But the Idol hopeful's fifteen minutes are not quite up yet — according to Darrell, Playboy execs have begun to knock at her door with some interesting opportunities.
"[I've had] a lot of different offers, like Vegas promotion offers. Of course Playboy has called," Darrell said Thursday in an interview with Access Hollywood's Tony Potts.
It sounds, however, like Darrell is starting to rethink marketing herself merely as a sex object.
"I wouldn't say no, but at the same time I don't want to stunt my career by jumping into that too soon and be labeled once again, as 'just a body.' But I don't knock it," she said.
