Don't wake the neighbors

As audiophiles know, great sound is a matter of balance. The Mezzo speaker system by Mordaunt-Short is among the best we've heard lately: The set features handsome curved wood veneers, top-mounted tweeters (allowing the drivers to "breathe" for a more "open" sound), and a subwoofer with EQ control for problematic room acoustics. Translation? The system offers a convenient way to enjoy a surround-sound setup (and not, say, bother your neighbors with the dull thud of an improper one).
