Sporting News honors Saban, four Tide players

The Sporting News named Nick Saban its Coach of the Year, and four University of Alabama players All-Americans, three fist team, on Wednesday.

Junior left tackle Andre Smith, senior center Antoine Caldwell and junior nose guard Terrence Cody were named first team, while senior free safety Rashad Johnson was second team.

Earlier Wednesday, ESPN named Smith to its All-American team.
