Don't grieve. Anything you lose comes round in another form.

**If you have a good Bob story (and why wouldn't you?), please sign Bob's Guest Book.

Having done this before, I already know how impossible it is to reduce a person's essence to a paragraph, or two. I think it's fair to say, Bob Beck is even harder to pare down to words. So, for now, I'll keep it simple.

Bob passed away at the San Francisco Veterans Medical Center on the evening of February 24th. He was very proud to have served his country during World War II as a naval attache. We thank the staff at the VA for the loving attention they gave him during his final hours (despite the bad press they've been getting, Bob received great care.) We'd also like to thank the prankster that dilligently covered up George W. Bush's photo in the lobby. It warmed the old man's heart to hear of that joke.

Do not stand at my grave and weep;

I am not there. I do not sleep.

I am a thousand winds that blow.

I am the diamond glints on snow.

I am the sunlight on ripened grain.

I am the gentle autunm rain.

When you awaken in the morning's hush

I am the swift uplifting rush

Of quiet birds in circled flight.

I am the soft stars that shine at night.

Do not stand at my grave and cry,

I am not there. I did not die.
