PSX News: Okay, we're jumping the gun on that one, but it is a possibility. Sega comments on its PS plans.
Roleplaying game with strategy elements, created by Camelot Software Planning in conjunction with SEGA. When the territorial war between the Aspinian Republic and the Destonian Empire escalates, a special conference is called to ease the tensions and restore peace. The story takes off when Synbios, a Republican representative who attends the meeting in the neutral city of Saraband, is wrapped up in a plot of back-stabbing and conspiracy that threatens to destroy the nation. Gameplay consists of exploration and tactical battles. The battle system is turn-based. As part of a trilogy, Shining Force is also known as Shining Force III: Scenario 1 -- choices made in the first game impact the story and events in the following two titles.
