This just overwrites the default werewolf with this modified model.
I do plan on re-doing the skin texture as well as some mesh editing so stay tuned for an update.
as of yet I've no plans on adding this model as a new creature, mostly because I can't stand the look of the default model anyway and personally preferred to have it overwrite.
Default Model edited in 3ds-max 4 by adjusting head, adding 'real' teeth, adding eyeballs and light emitters to give their eyes that special glow.
to use, as HAK:
Place wm_werewolf.hak into your Nevewinter Nights\NWN\Hak directory and associate it with whatever module your making/using
to use, as Override:
Use NWN explorer of NWHak.exe(located in Neverwinter Nights/nwn/utils folder) to extract "c_werewolf.mdl" from hak and place into your Neverwinter Nights/NWN/Override folder
Known problems.
sometimes for a split second the emmitters seem to float away from the eyes, this is usually during running , I haven't been able to find a fix for this so if anybody has any guesses, let me know and I'll post an update a.s.a.p
thanks for downloading.

*****UPDATE: 11/25/06 **********
werewolf v2 override version has been uploaded. enjoy!
Override version of V2 werewolf redone. I was lazy and didn't want to mess with 2das just yet for adding in an additional werewolf model, but here it is for all those that want to replace there old werewolves or feel free to use both versions in a compilation pack.
however, i'm getting strange shadows from the glowing eyes (long striped shadows on the ground starting where the eyes should cast their shadow, or better say: shouldn't)
is there anything i can do to not make this appear? i'm not sure if it's a bug with the glowing effect in general (NWN wide) or if it is a modelspecific bug.
any idea?

Very nice models. I had the first one for a while and was gonna vote about 9, but the new model (V2) brings the experience to an even better level, and I will improve the vote and actually vote.
10
BTW, your other models I've liked too. _________________________ @===============================================@
Vinchenzo made a post here.
Plz check out my entries. I'm currently making a few simple modules, designing 3 special characters, and hope to someday be good this stuff.
This is Vinchenzo, finishing his post with the following advice:
Don't use Latin improperly (Lupis means grey, Rufus is red, Canid is dog, so on.) Furries annoy me with their improper usage of such. And I'm a furry!!! Ugh...
Don't vote for Beta things unless told they are finished, unless posted specifically by the author.
Don't abuse the vote and post function, don't vote for your own/friends stuff just to get a high vote. Don't flame vote either just to be an ass.
There is a voting system for how the points are used, even I forget, but we should follow it (and tattoo it to our forehead, lol)

Fantastic. I love this by the way, even with the criticism of the bug. Probably one of the coolest looking models out there.

This file breaks the werecats. I've done a bit of testing and when this file is in the override folder or a hak the arms of the werecat model stay glued to the side and don't animate. It'd be an awesome file if this was fixed.

Nice work! 9.75 because I need to leave some room for an improved vote for your tilesets :) _________________________ *************************************************

Can you point me to the tutorials that shows how to pull the model out and modify the mesh (3ds Max) and texture (Photoshop) and get it back in to the game?
Just a suggestion, if possible...

Looks Perfectly! Respect!
Please, continue to make new 'things' for NwN1.
You are one of not many ppl on the nwvault, who can make something real good.

Definetly better then the original. I like the eerie eyes.
It's not bad in the least. I personally think that th slender, sleek look suits a werewolf. Hm maybe make model fix that has a female and a male sex? I am female and I think this mdl fix looks great. I'm planning on remdling several other of the NwN creatues, it's good to see that someone else thinks the game we love can improve beyond CEP and PrC ;)

yeah, i'm making a werewfolf subrace too, and can't wait to see you updated version!

not bad at all! have tested the model in a mod that uses a werewolf subrace and it works perfectly and looks great!

I'm playing a mod that uses a werewolf subrace (dragons bane) and am very much enjoying your new model! looking forward to see what new versions you come up with. any updates yet?
Overall it's a way big improvement from the original werewolf model. I hate those non-wolflike fangs hanging here and there out of its mouth, but this one's eyes are too big. The "glow in the dark" eyes themselves are about the right size, I'd say.
But other than that it looks great; good job.

If you wanna build a 'heavier' werewolf I suggest you to take a look at Joe Dante's The Howling (if ya haven't done it yet that is).
Best werewolves ever seen on screen IMHO.

I'd wanted to re-do the werewolf model as well as soon as I figured out modelling but that never panned out. It's great to see someone else had the same idea and actually went through with it! Once you get around to editting the mesh, make sure you replace those scrawny arms and legs they've got! *thumbsup*

Yeah I dig that sicko lookin' grin ^^ ... but wouldn't it be nicer with a red/orange glow color ?

Nice work, can i recomend maybe enlarge the neck to look more bullneck like, at the moment the neck still gives it that wet cat look. just a thought :)
