Xavier took to the court early Wednesday, playing host to La Salle in a special early afternoon tip. But the different starting time was no problem for the No. 17 Musketeers who cruised to a 30-point conference victory and their 14th straight win thanks to some stifling defense.

Top-ranked Lynn had the perfect ending to its five-game road trip, with a big win on Monday over Paine College, 14-2. The Fighting Knights finished the road trip 4-1, and learned following the game that they were the new No. 1 in the latest Division II Poll.
