Correction published 2/7/2009: Local News: Andrew E. Thurman's law practice is in O'Hara, according to his Web site. A story published on Feb. 6, 2009 about his arrest, on charges that he fabricated his own abduction, robbery and shooting, had an incorrect location for the practice.

Correction published 2/7/2009: Local News: Lawyers for The Associated Press and Los Angeles street artist Shepard Fairey are in discussions about compensation and credit from Mr. Fairey for his use of a copyrighted photo of Barack Obama to create a poster. A story published Feb. 6, 2009 incorrectly characterized the action AP has taken against Mr. Fairey.

Correction published 2/7/2009: Local News: For part of the Feb. 7, 2009 news cycle an online-only chart accompanying an article about Pennsylvania state legislative staff compensation had incorrect staff affiliations for David W. Woods and Donna Malpezzi. They are both members of the Senate Republican majority leader's staff.

Correction published 2/6/2009: Local News: Allegheny County court records show that Bernardo Katz has defaulted on many mortgages and Urban Redevelopment Authority loans. A story published Feb. 5, 2009 about federal charges against some of his associates incorrectly identified the source of the information about Mr. Katz, who has not been charged.
