Don Willmott , LifeWire





Writer Don Willmott reports on the Internet, computer technology, consumer electronics, travel, and environmental issues for a wide variety of publications and Web sites. He was previously Yahoo! Internet Life's Technology Editor, responsible for the magazine's service and product-related articles as well as the Cool Tools and Incredibly Useful Sites departments. He also oversaw the magazine's annual survey of America's Most Wired Cities.

Willmott spent 14 years at PC Magazine, where he held several positions including New Products Editor and Executive Editor for software coverage and managed the team that developed and posted the content for PC Magazine's Web site. He has appeared on ABC News, CBS News, CNN, CNBC, C-SPAN, MSNBC, NPR, and the BBC to discuss the Internet and technology topics, and has moderated discussion panels at the Consumer Electronics Show.

He is also the author of the book "PC Magazine Best of the Web" (Wiley, 2004).

Willmott earned a BA in English Literature from Bowdoin College. He lives in New York City.
