Michael Sroka is a Michigan resident who, in between running his own business, balancing family life with work and playing in a band, finds some time to set World Records on titles ranging from Sonic Spinball for Sega Genesis to Rock Band on Xbox 360. Twin Galaxies Staff Writer Richard Booth recently sat down with Michael and asked him what it takes to rule the world on these titles and when exactly he finds time to sleep.

Iowa gamer Tim McVey made international headlines in January 1984 for being the first official gamer in the world to break 1 Billion points on a video game.
Tim's feat was done on the Nibbler machine at the Twin Galaxies arcade in Ottumwa, Iowa, officially becoming one of the last great feats to take place in the legendary arcade that started it all. Tim's final score of 1,000,042,270 stood for 25 years, 1 month, and 1 week before finally falling on February 22.
On the morning of Friday, April 10, Tim McVey will sit down at an original Nibbler machine in his home to once again attempt to run the gauntlet and regain his famed record... and the entire world gets to watch it LIVE!
Tim will have several friends and family, including legendary gaming personality Trickman Terry, in his home during this two-day attempt. A webcam has been set up on the Nibbler machine itself so that the entire world can view the live footage of the record attempt throughout Easter weekend. Another set of cameras will be recording the record attempt for official submission to Twin Galaxies should he reclaim the score.

Twin Galaxies International and G4 Media, Inc. are proud to announce national television coverage of Steve Wiebe's attempt to reclaim the Donkey Kong World Record. The event will take place as part of the annual Electronic Entertainment Expo (E3) on June 2, 2009 from the Los Angeles Convention Center.
Twin Galaxies will be on-hand for this historic live airing of a World Record attempt, which will be airing on the G4 Network. This marks the first time ever a full World Record Attempt of a video game has ever been aired live on national television.
