Money-Burge Act - Emergency Contact:
On August 7, 2006 David Christian Money was killed in an auto accident, rather than being notified by authorities, his mom was told over the phone by a hospital chaplain that her only son was dead.
Carmella, David's mom, set out to create a bill that would notify the next of kin immediately, making it possible for family members to be with their loved ones right away. After ac year the Money-Burge Act was Signed by Governor Strickland May 1, 2008, allowing emergency contact information to be readily available for law enforcement in the state of Ohio.
