Have you considered podcasting these so we could just subscribe to Mac Mojo and whatever you publish in the future we would automatically download? I know you MS guys don't like the word "pod," but give it some thought.

Quite slow with many fonts installed
Any tips on getting the apps to load faster and stop spontaneously crashing. Great product, but it isn't stable enough for prime time.

Great Apps
I don't know if this is the right place to ask this but here goes. Why do the office apps pollute the user space? I'm specifically referring to the folder called "Microsoft User Data" that shows up in the ~/Documents folder. When looking through the folder it seem that a more aproprate place for this would be in ~/Library or ~/Library/Application Support. Is is possible to move this folder elsewhere?
Thanks for the awesome apps.

Excel in Office-2008
Microsoft apparently expects the user to type data from internet into a worksheet, as functions that could automate this in 2008 do no longer work. Collaboration in communities is no longer possible for members with the new office 2008 version simply because macro's do not work. Microsoft made a big mistake in my opinion and should get this corrected very very soon.

My Day Double Entry Bug
One bug I've noticed is that My Day shows some calendar items twice even though Entourage does not. Checking both Outlook and OWA also shows only one calendar item.

Powerpoint incompatible with 10.5.2. ?
This program unfortunately simply got unusable but it isn't intended to be a beta version. Is it a MacBU bug or an Apple Bug?

Is this a blog
You promised us a blog, but where it it? As far as I can tell--based on the frequency of posts--your so-called "blog" might as well be an "updates" section to your website.
Where is your interaction with posters? I see... very little. What advantage could be gained from ignoring us? Are you too ashamed to fess up to the bugs and lack of features in your product? We are giving you valuable feedback, and have been, but we don't feel very good about it right now.
See, we WANT a better Office, and we are more than willing to tell you what we need.
AT you, not with you (a big distinction) we have been listing EXACTLY what we need to be happy. But you didn't listen to us. Maybe you did and just couldn't give us half of what we wanted. In either case, don't release half a product, and try to fix everything with a patch. Wait. Listen. Code.
You don't show us that you're listening. Instead of weekly interaction we feel marooned--not just by your silence, but by the absence of nearly every feature we so dearly wanted in our 2008 Office.
You promised us exchange support. You promised us task editing, and calender syncing. You promised us so much, and what did we get? A new GUI. That's it. Oh, yeah. I forgot. You also took away our VBA.
Thanks, by the way.
You promised us a blog. You also promised us a better Office. I'm still waiting for both.
P.S. Give us back our VBA!
P.S.S. Dump the digital carcass that is Entourage; give us our rightful Outlook.

Re: Macworld: A Day At The Office
Macros are very useful and normally multi-platform aware !!!
I was expecting more a larger support of macro functionality like access to Web Services through macros and what happen ....
No more support of macro, missing funtionality.
Does Microsoft really thing that the world is separate between Mac and Windows ? Did he really thing that they don't communicate and use the same stylesheets inside a company ?
That's probably the more stupide things ever made !!!
Back to iWork for now

my experience
- Smooth file transition from 2007 (win) to 2008 (mac) and the other way round
- no problems at all when saving files in compatibility mode for older Office:Mac versions
- faster loading time on my Intel Mac
- I love the templates
just one thing: Entourage & Exchange 2007
Out of Office keeps saying "not connected to exchange server"
the account is set up using the https URL from OWA

Re: Macworld: A Day At The Office
We feel ignored. On the old blog. On the new blog. We've been saying what we want feature-wise. We've been asking questions. We've been doing all of the things that a blog is for...
...only to get silence to anything except the few questions you seem to be allowed to answer.
Fine, so this isn't the official feedback channel. But it is A feedback channel And it's one where not only can we say things, but we can see what's already been said. Even if you, the MacBU don't seem to answer enough, it's interactive. And that's a whole lot more attractive than sending comments to a closed list.
Plus, as I (and others) have said in comments all over the place, it's the silence that says the most. Knowing what's in, what's out, what's possible and what's not is important. It's vital. This is the internet age, people. People follow development issues. People want to know what's coming out. And people will easily jump ship form a product where no information is forthcoming to one where the information is there. As even if it doesn't do everything we want, we already know exactly what it does and doesn't do by reading the specs. The feature-lists. The development pages. It's easy to work around the gaps when we know what's missing in advance...
...which I still believe is why Office 2008 is getting so much backlash. People found out what was missing at the release day. Rather than back when people were searching/asking for the answers.

Heckfire, I can't even print the dang thing!
I'm getting tired of pressing the "send error report" button ... lot's of money down the drain for something that doesn't provide basic functionality.
I'm actually considering going back to Office 2004 ... at least it works.
