Mixed opinions on pension levy

A new opinion poll shows that while a majority is opposed to the public service pension levy, a substantial minority agree with it.

The tns/MRBI poll for tomorrow's Irish Times also found that a majority of voters think the Government's cutbacks are either about right, or are not severe enough.

Today, an Irish Times opinion poll showed that just 14% of voters are satisfied with the way the Government is doing its job, with 82% dissatisfied.
