Posted by: Darth_Spice | 28 February 2009 | 9:20 EST Hasbro Q & A Session:
We are happy to report we've received the latest round of questions from the high command of Hasbro for 2009. How does a new paint job and box justify a $30 price increase on an "exclusive" that just came out in December? Will there be any other types of droids to assemble in 2009 like maybe an R1, R3, 2-1B medical droid or even an Imperial Darktrooper? Are there any plans to produce a small scale ship or figure line to be carded and sold for the one dollar price point similar to that of Hot Wheels and or Matchbox cars? Even though we have most of these answers thanks to Toy Fair, we encourage you to log-in to the forums and check out what they had to say. We missed the deadline and have no set for this round for Jawa.com but make sure to check our our glowing-eyed friends next time. Do you have a question for the Hasbro Q & A Team? Log-in and leave your question in the forums.

In fact we are seeing more and more reasons why people are giving up on collecting due to the struggling economy. A report in the Indy Star profiles a Star Wars fan who is down on his luck and selling everything off on Craigslist even though it isn't quite what it was worth a couple of years ago. Sound off on this hot topic with other Troopers in our forums! Thanks again to Sandtrooper Jedichirp for the heads up and for more check out the

Posted by: Darth_Spice | 25 February 2009 | 20:34 EST Sandtrooper Starfox Reports:
"Hey Troopers, a quick store update from central Texas today. In the Harker Heights Wal-Mart I found the 3 new exclusive comic two packs, the rebel pilots are very nice. These were found on an endcap, not with the regular comic packs and figures, so be sure to check the entire toy department. Then at the Killeen Wal-Mart I scored the new wave of titanium ships to include the Virago as well as the Twilight from the cartoon series. That's all for now, Starfox signing out!"
