Free Data Feeds
Box Office Mojo offers a free utility for those who want to publish box office information on their Web site(s).

The convenience of this service allows you to place just one line of Javascript into your page, while the information displayed to your visitors is always the latest data from Box Office Mojo.

Weekend Top 5:
To use this feed, paste the following code into the HTML of your Web page where you want the Weekend Top 5 chart to appear:

<script type="text/javascript" language="javascript" src="http://www.boxofficemojo.com/data/js/wknd5.php"></script>

A sample of the current feed is displayed toward the bottom of this page. More advanced publishers can customize the format of the chart using CSS by using the following code:

<script type="text/javascript" language="javascript" src="http://www.boxofficemojo.com/data/js/wknd5.php?h=myclass1&r=myclass2"></script>

You will need to replace "myclass1" and "myclass2" with your own class names. The first class defines the header row of the chart, while the second defines the rows containing the top five weekend box office results.

Single Movie Box Office Total:
To use this feed, paste the code below into the HTML of your Web page where you want a single movie's box office total to appear (this sample will display the box office total for Star Wars: Episode III - Revenge of the Sith):

<script type="text/javascript" language="javascript" src="http://www.boxofficemojo.com/data/js/moviegross.php?id=starwars3.htm&shortgross=0"></script>

Sample Feeds:

You will need to replace "starwars3.htm" with the movie ID that you wish to have shown. To find a movie's ID, use our search feature to go to its movie page and then look in the address bar of your browser. The movie ID is the string of text after "?id=".

You can tell the script to display the box office total in raw dollars or in millions by changing "&shortgross=" to 1 (to display in millions) or 0 (to display full gross).

If a movie's box office has not yet been reported, the release date will be displayed.

More advanced publishers can customize the format of these charts using CSS by adding "&h=myclass1&r=myclass2" to the source URL. You will need to replace "myclass1" and "myclass2" with your own class names. The first class defines the header row of the chart, while the second defines the data display row.
