Trictionary

The Trictionary was recognized as a model youth project by the National Endowment for the Humanities in 1985. More than one hundred local teenagers met after school for two years in challenging translation committees, arriving at mutually agreed translations/ explanations of more than 3,000 words. Published as an illustrated dictionary in Chinese, Spanish, and English, with appendices on festivals, biographies and history, the Trictionary helps people from different cultures understand each other.
