Shane Supple will join Oldham on loan for the rest of the season with Blues bringing in Bartosz Bialkowski from Southampton as a replacement.

Republic of Ireland U21 international Shane will travel to Boundary Park after tonight's match against Burnley, where he will join up with his former Town boss Joe Royle, who took over as Latics' boss on Monday.

Bialkowski will train for the first time with Town on Thursday after travelling up from the south coast tomorrow.

The 21-year-old 'keeper started his career with Gornik Zabrze before moving to Southampton in January 2006.

He has made 19 appearances for Saints and held down the first-team jersey towards the end of 2006/07 in front of Kelvin Davis.

He is capped at U20 and U21 level by Poland.
