Danny says, "The Center for Environmental Filmmaking has been the single most rewarding aspect of my AU experience.  Chris Palmer, Larry Engel, and the other CEF faculty members have helped me to develop relevant contacts (such as NOAA) and provide opportunities to hone my filmmaking skills within a professional context."

In the fall of 2008, Danny began working as a paid Media Production Intern for NOAA's National Ocean Service, assisting in a part-time capacity to produce and edit videos in partnership with the Ocean Media Center.  Danny has since worked on projects about oil cleanup efforts in the Mississippi delta, International Coastal Cleanup Day, and an upcoming production to recruit young scientists into NOAA's scholarship program.
