FA DISCIPLINARY HEARINGS
Following yesterday's (23rd March 2009) Regulatory Commission hearings at Soho Square The FA have imposed the following sanctions relating the incidents at the end of the game against Bradford City on Saturday 24th January 2009:
- Hatters' boss Mick Harford was fined £400 and warned as to his future conduct in relation to his comments to match referee, Trevor Kettle, at the final whistle.He was fined a further £600 for his comments about Mr Kettle in the press.
- The club was charged with "Failure to Control its Players" following the incident immediately following the award of a contentious last minute penalty.The club was warned as to its future conduct and fined £2,000.
- Club captain Kevin Nicholls was charged with improper conduct and has been handed a five match ban and a £1,000 fine.His ban however, will not start until 7th April 2009 which means Kevin will be available for the next two crucial League matches and the Johnstone's Paint Trophy Final at Wembley 5th April 2009.
The club does not wish to comment further at this time, however it will be considering its options in relation to appealing the decisions.
