My personal message:
Hi my name is Jacob Seilheimer and I am fat.

In fact, when I started this journey a few months ago I weighed in at over 438 lbs.  But one day I just got sick of it all...

I got sick of children pointing and laughing at me.  I got sick of being the butt of people's jokes.  I got sick of worrying about whether my heart was going to give out in my sleep and I'd never wake up.

That's why I took a stand and made some MAJOR changes in my life.

That's why I'm running the Boston Marathon for charity on April 16th, 2007.

I figured if I was going to turn my life around, I should try to positively impact as many lives as possible.  I realize most of you won't be able to line the route on Marathon Monday, however the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children would greatly appreciate your support.

Unless you've been directly affected by child abuse or seen the disastrous effects of somebody close to you, it's impossible to understand the heartache involved that sticks with you for life.

Donating through this site is simple, safe, secure, and tax deductible.  It is also the most effective way to make a contribution to our fundraising efforts.

We encourage you to forward this page to anybody you think would be willing to support our cause.  If you would like to discuss The Center, its mission, or our fundraising efforts, please contact me at jacob@whatwouldjacobdo.com

We hope that you will join us in this cause and help fight the battle.  We live in the greatest country in the world and it's time to end all the pain and suffering.  Every dollar amount helps and will make a difference.

Words cannot express my feelings towards all the support and generosity pouring in from all over the world!

Love and thanks!
Jacob
