The occupying army has the duty to protect the citizens that it is occupying.

The IDF did not protect the Palestinian people of Sabra and Chatila from being massacred. It does not matter who does the killing the fact is the Palestinians were under the control of the Israelis according to international law.

You might disagree with this assessment, but what is undeniable is Sabra and Chatilla were under Israeli occupation at the time of the massacre.

Ariel Sharon who was in charge at the time was subsequently elected as Prime Minister of Israel.

Which is why these soldiers felt able to design, print and wear these offensive t-shirts.
