I am apologizing to the Prince of Persia Community for such a long wait since Prince of Persia Legacy has been updated. I hope everyone is doing well and is in good health. There were a few server updates, which caused some links to not work properly. I will be fixing that up soon in the near future. Aside from these minor hic ups.

I have some great news to share with everyone. First Second Books have been kind of enough to give Prince of Persia Legacy a preview of Prince of Persia Graphic Novel that is releasing in couple of weeks on September 2, 2008. I know most of the Prince of Persia Community is wondering wait a second, there is a Prince of Persia Graphic Novel in works? Yes, First Second Books' Prince of Persia Team has been working diligently on it for the past few years. Now some of us fans have become a bit skeptical with all these new Prince of Persia products that coming out so fast and considering some of us are bit critical of Ubisoft's upcoming new redesigned Prince of Persia video game and the whole situation with the Prince of Persia Sands of Time Movie.
Please allow me assure everyone the Prince of Persia Graphic Novel is something totally different it’s been made to please new, old, and graphic novel readers a like. So there is nothing to worry about. It’s a Prince of Persia product made by fans for fans. Actually I've been talking with Mr. Siegel, the Editorial Director of First Second Books, for past couple years when the Graphic Novel was in its infancy and everyone should be rest assured as Mr. Siegel is a huge fans of the Prince of Persia Series since the days he was young. Moreover Jordan Mechner, the beloved creator of the Prince of Persia series has joined forces with a world renowned Iranian author and poet A.B. Sina to bring an Arabian tale that has never been told before, which takes cues from the old video games but remaining original at the same. Therefore everyone is going to be in for a real treat. I am really thankful for First Second Books for these great exclusives. I’d like to say a huge thank you First Second Books and the whole Prince of Persia team for delivering such an awesome product.
Please check out the Prince of Persia Legacy exclusive of two pages from the upcoming Prince of Persia Graphic Novel's page by clicking here. Also check out more excerpts from Graphic Novel on First Seond Book's Prince of Persia Page by clicking here. Please support Jordan Mechner, First Second Books, A. B. Sina, and the whole Prince of Persia Graphic Novel Team by ordering Prince of Persia Graphic Novel on Amazon.com (Paperback or Hard cover/Collector's Edition). If the Prince of Persia Graphic Novel is successful for the Prince of Persia Franchise and First Second Books, we fans can hopefully look forward to a retelling of the Prince of Persia Classic Trilogy, the Prince of Persia Sands of Time Trilogy, or something new Prince of Persia related in a graphic novel format. Take care everyone and best of luck to Prince of Persia Graphic Novel team! -Zapages

Its been a long time since the last update... Sorry about that Everyone. I just wanted to share the following great rumor regarding Prince of Persia Zero, the Next Gen Prince of Persia game that is being developed for the Xbox 360, PS3, and PC.

According to qj.net's Xbox 360 site.

"With Ubisoft Montreal beefing up its numbers, we can expect work on Prince to be rather intensive. GamesRadar says that it looks like the game will "make a spiritual return" to its Middle Eastern roots, after taking a darker turn in the time-traveling arc (Sands of Time, Warrior Within, Two Thrones). They also make mention of a "new love interest." Vital statistics: "not much to say here, but she does look somewhere in the region of rather foxy."

We will soon here more about the next gen Prince of Persia game, when it is officially announced. Until then "Let the Edge of your Sword be your Guide to your Destiny" - Prince of Persia....-Zapages

Today is a real special day to me, not because I got a hair cut after a long while. I admit did not need to share that with everyone. I am just trying to lighten the mood up a bit. I was going to start the update with something totally different, but I decided to change it up at the last minute.

First and foremost I'd like to thank the Prince of Persia Community, the Honored Fans section is really a sample of all the great fans that help Prince of Persia Legacy out. There are so many great fans out there that I don't even know how I could thank them, except for my sincere gratitude that I can give them for their great contributions throughout the years. Thank you everyone and I really appreciate all the help. Specifically I'd like to thank the great Community Managers at Ubisoft: Nate Mordo, Chris Easton, Dave Heigho, the famous Frag Dolls Ashley Jenkins, and Morgan Romine. As well of the community managers, it was a great honor to be able to interview Ben Mattis, the producer of Prince of Persia: The Two Thrones. This wouldn't have been possible without the great help of Florence Baccard and Sebastien Puel for receiving me at Ubisoft Montreal this past summer. Also PrinceNineOne1 or better known as Mr. B here, who is kind enough to do interviews concerning the Prince of Persia Series in the past years. On Gamespy/IGN side, I would really like to thank Chuck Condon, Kevin Bowen, Chris Poskitt, and most members on their Hosted Sites’ Forum. Throughout the years, they help me out by giving me suggestions on how to design a better fan site and deal with problems that are faced by all fan site owners, which I greatly appreciate and without their help Prince of Persia Legacy wouldn’t here for everyone to enjoy. I would like have my deepest and most sincere thank you to my loving parents for supporting me throughout the years with Prince of Persia 3D HQ and later transformation of the site into Prince of Persia Legacy, without their love and care I wouldn't be here today. Thank you.

To start today's momentous occasion. I would like to go public with presenting everyone with the release of two great Prince of Persia Soundtracks. The first soundtrack is Warrior Within's Soundtrack, which can be found here. The second soundtrack release is the Perfect Release of The Two Thrones. Both of these soundtracks were encoded by Tristan. Thank you Tristan and mblmg, for all the great help of encoding these soundtracks for the Prince of Persia Community. I hope the Prince of Persia Community enjoys listening to them, especially the Two Thrones' soundtrack because it is really good when compared to the game.

I apologize to the Prince of Persia Community that the Prince of Persia Gallery is down right now for some odd reason. I hope to fix the gallery as soon as possible. Please don't worry all the great contributions to the Prince of Persia Gallery are still there.

Now for the big news that I have kept silent about for the past months or so. Hub Digital Living Magazine of Canada has done an exclusive interview with me that was used into a creation of "A Piece of the Action" article based upon fan sites, which now has been published in the April Issue of Hub Digital Living Magazine. I hope every Prince of Persia fan goes out to buy it for free, to see the ins and outs of creating and maintaining a fan site. This is my first ever magazine article that is published, which mentions Prince of Persia Legacy and gives some insight on what fans like myself do to maintain their fan sites. So please check it out. It will be a great read for everyone who ever thought of creating a fan site. I hope everyone enjoys it. Special thanks go to Erin Bell the Editorial Assistant at Hub Digital Living, who conducted the interview. Thank you for this great opportunity and choosing Prince of Persia Legacy.

Canadian readers can pick up the magazine for free at specially marked silver "HUB" street boxes if they live in the cities of Toronto, Ottawa, Montreal or Vancouver. Hub Digital Living Magazine is distributed in various stores, libraries and colleges in and around those cities. (Readers can visit our website www.HubCanada.com for the complete list of distribution locations.) If you don't live in Canada then, please check it out online here. All issues of HUB are archived online on their website, so please check out some of their other issues as well.

Well that wraps it up with update. I hope everyone really enjoys the article and the Magazine as it is trully is a great read for any fan. Good luck to everyone, who is in college with their Finals just roaming around the corner. -Zapages
