This online resource is for student pilots and Flight Simulator Aviators. Sectional Charts are like aviation maps. Pilots use these maps in flight planning and aeronautical navigation. Terminal Area Charts, TAC, are more detailed maps of busy airport areas.

Helicopter Charts are updated. Check out the New New York Heli Chart. We've also added Houston and Salt Lake City, which makes the Helicopter Route Chart coverage complete.

IFR Enroute Chart are now online and free to view by anyone. En-route charts are used by pilots flying under instrument flight rules. IFR charts are update every 56 days.

Make sure your Air charts are current by checking the Issue date in the legend. Aeronautical charts are typically issued every 6 months. Terminal Area Charts are usually issued in sync with the Sectional Charts for the same area.

You can use these charts to learn about the US FAA airspace. Weather data is provided from current METARS. Aviation Chart Data is updated monthly from Official NACO images.

All pilots are responsible for verifying all information before takeoff.

Nothing you see on this website can be substituted for official information and pre-flight briefing.

Always call 1-800-WX-BRIEF before every flight. Always carry current charts. If you can read this, enable javascript.
