Secure payments

Accepted Payment

Paying online is simple. We accept the following credit and debit cards: Visa, Visa Electron, Mastercard, Visa Delta, Maestro/Switch, and Solo. Sorry, but we do not accept American Express and Diners Club.

Is my transaction secure?

Audiorelief recognise that security is one of the major concerns for the shopper during an online transaction. Therefore we use state-of-the-art security tools and techniques to ensure that you are protected against online fraud. Every transaction is transmitted across the Internet using SSL (Secure Socket Layer) encryption. This industry standard method ensures that information sent from your browser is scrambled whilst in transit and decoded when it arrives on our server. SSL is now supported by all major browsers - Internet Explorer 5.5 or higher, Netscape 5 or higher, or similar - and is generally accepted as a way of doing business securely over the Internet.

All personal data, including your card number, is transmitted over secure connections, meaning that no-one can eavesdrop and capture your details. In addition to this, your card details are not viewable by us at all, they are simply transmitted over the banks private X25 network for authorisation and payment transactions. You are protected because the transaction was carried out as cardholder not present. This means that any payments will be refunded to your card should it be used fraudulently by someone else or you do not receive what you ordered. In reality, an online purchase is probably more secure than a card transaction conducted in a shop, over the telephone, or by fax, because we ensure that your online purchase details are encrypted using complex logarithm methods.

What if I have problems ordering?

Common reasons for problems when pressing the order button include: not having the correct date and time on your PC; using an old browser that doesnt support SSL encryption; and, browsing from behind a corporate firewall that will not allow secure connections. To check, point your browser to https://www.microsoft.com/. If you cannot connect to the Microsoft secure server it is likely that one of the above faults apply. If you are browsing from behind a corporate firewall, speak to the system administrator at your office. They will either rectify the problem or you will advise you to order from another location.

Acknowledgement of Orders

Once you have placed an order, you will receive an e-mail confirming that the order is being processed. Please read it carefully to check that you have placed your order correctly. If you do not receive such an order confirmation please contact us. Please note that it is also advisable to print the final order confirmation page following the placement of your order, and make a note of your order number.

When is my credit card debited?

Your card will normally be debited when the goods are dispatched, although in certain limited circumstances (if you require you order to be delivered on a specific date in the future) it will be debited prior to this time.

When you place an order with audiorelief we simply gain an authorisation from your card issuer. No monies are taken directly from your card. This authorisation guarantees that the funds are available on your card and that payment will be made to us. This authorisation remains valid for ten days.

We will continue to advise you of the likely delivery date. If for any reason we cannot supply you with any part of your order we will contact you via e-mail or telephone to advise you of this. We can if necessary cancel an individual item from your order.

What happens if my card authorisation fails?

If the authorisation fails, the most likely explanation is that you have input your card details (card type, card number, start/expiry date, CVV code (the last three digits on the reverse of the card), etc incorrectly. If this happens, press the back button on your browser and you will be returned to the card input page. Check that all the details are correct, and make any changes necessary before proceeding.

If all the details are correct and you still fail to get an authorisation then we advise that you contact your card issuer to establish why your card was not authorised. You may also try and proceed with the transaction using an alternative card or opt to switch to an offline order. Please note that we are unable to process failed orders.
