Tickets for Symphonic Fantasies in Cologne are sold out.

The official orchestra website of the WDR reports: “Achtung! Symphonic Fantasies-Konzert in der Kölner Philharmonie bald ausverkauft!”.

Acclaimed soloist Benyamin Nuss will join Symphonic Fantasies. The award-winning pianist has an exceptional feeling for melodies. It will be the second time for him to perform music from video games. His impressive interpretation of the Turrican 3 arrangement can be heard on the CD album Symphonic Shades.
Thomas Böcker, concert producer: ”We are going to make a few announcements later, but yes — I can officially confirm that three famous composers will be in attendance. And yes, there will be a meet and greet, probably before the actual concert starts, that will be free of charge. More details will be announced shortly.”.
Jonne Valtonen, the award-winning Finnish composer and arranger, has been hired to arrange the music for the Symphonic Fantasies concert in Cologne exclusively, using classics such as “Final Fantasy”, “Chrono Trigger”, “Chrono Cross”, “Kingdom Hearts” and ”Secret of Mana”.
The WDR Radio Orchestra and the WDR Radio Choir will present the “Symphonic Fantasies” concert on Saturday, September 12, 2009 at 8 PM in Cologne, Germany. This highly anticipated concert will feature music from the video game soundtracks of Square Enix. Square Enix is one of the most influential providers of digital entertainment content in the world.
