Libe Goad

Editor-in-Chief / Email
Video game veteran Libe Goad has been covering the electronic entertainment industry for nearly a decade, serving stints at Ziff-Davis Media, TheGlobe.com and infamous dotcom flameout Kozmo.com. Libe's written for, or been quoted in, outlets including Blender, Bust, Rolling Stone, MTV and the New York Times, and she's a regular TV talking head on networks including CNN, CNBC, G4 and Spike TV.

Today, as Editor-in-Chief of GameDaily (formerly AOL Video Games) and PlaySavvy.com, she directs the content at one of the biggest video game sites on the Web, from news and reviews to features and interviews.

Way back in the mists of time we call, "the '90s," Libe was the Managing Editor of a family of booze industry magazines, and co-founded the groundbreaking women's gaming Web site GameGal.com.

Libe's favorite gaming moments include eBaying review copies of games in order to attend E3 in 2002, finishing the Halo 3 campaign in one awesome Saturday and finally getting Seaman to talk ... right before he kicked the bucket.

Top 3 Games: Gears of War 2, Fallout 3, Peggle Nights

John Benyamine

Senior Product Manager / Email
John is the former Editorial Director of GameDaily (until early 2006) but decided he'd be able to play more games if he stopped writing about them. John is now the guy backstage, helping put together the lovely sites that make up the GameDaily network, including Big Download, Wow.com and PlaySavvy.

His favorite gaming-related memories include going to E3 for the first time (underage, along with several other underaged staffers), winning a TurboDuo at the EGM Super Tour against guys twice his age, getting a copy of Super Mario Bros. 3 before it came out thanks to a neighbor who worked at Toys 'R' Us, and the first day he was able to tell his folks he was getting a paycheck from doing this kind of work.

Top 3 Games: The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker, Rez, Mario & Luigi: Superstar Saga

Chris Buffa

Senior Editor / Email
Chris Buffa's rise to superstardom happened by chance. In October 2002, he began writing for Gamerfeed.com as a way to relieve stress during college. Little did he know that two years later, GameDaily would hire him full time. Since that historic moment, he's spent four plus years of his life traveling the country, playing games, meeting people and assaulting readers with list articles. He's a former hardcore gamer that stopped collecting junk and playing Japanese role-playing games because doing both are a waste of time. Instead, he prefers to kill things in first person shooters, obsess over iPhone games and watch sports. He loves free chips and salsa, popcorn, going to the movies, grouping things into top 25s and making you happy.

Top 3 Games: Resident Evil Remake (GameCube), Geometry Wars: Retro Evolved 2, Streets of Rage 2

Micheal Mullen

Managing Editor / Email
After playing Combat at his uncle's house, Micheal fell in love with games. From classic Atari 2600 games, the wicked awesome Vectrix to modern consoles, he started his role in the video game industry about 13 years ago by writing for Ziff-Davis Interactive, Computer Gaming World, GameSpot and Electronic Arts. He's been seen on TechTV, BBC, speaking French on CBC and a local Fox TV affiliate. One day, he vows to learn at least one useful computer language, which he will use to create Alpha Centauri 2 (since no one else can figure out how to get it done).

Top 3 Games: Alpha Centauri, Burnout Revenge (I actually wrote the game's tagline, "Battle Racing Ignited"), Ultima Underworld

Robin Yang

Assistant Editor / Email
Papa Yang had two daughters. One of them was coaxed into sports; this one was coaxed into video games. The games Robin has played over the years range from Mario Teaches Typing to Power Pete, Pokemon to Goldeneye, Call of Duty to Geometry Wars, Halo to Peggle. Around GameDaily, she likes making lists and creating content. Current gaming addictions tend towards the bloody-killy-shooter-faster-bigger-guns types.

Top 3 Games: Starfox 64, Geometry Wars, Call of Duty 4

Robert Workman

Staff Writer / Email
Robert has several years of experience under his belt as the senior staff writer. He's been playing video games since the late 70's, with several classics still constantly being played to this very day. He's also worked for several high-profile sites and magazines, including Gaming Age, Segadojo, Segaweb and (on occasion) Gamefan. He enjoys a good online session of Xbox Live (usually Rock Band or Geometry Wars Retro Evolved 2) and knows how to have fun. Oh yeah, the beer helps.

Top 3 Games: Tempest, Rock Band, Battletoads

James Brightman

Biz Lead Editor / Email
James Brightman has been playing games since 1984 when his parents brought home an Intellivision. Games like Bump 'n' Jump and Burgertime hooked him and the launch of the NES sealed the deal. James now heads up GameDaily BIZ, AOL's industry leading video game business publication and newsletter, and works tirelessly to bring you up-to-the-minute news and in-depth insight into this $30 billion industry.

Top 3 Games: Zelda: Ocarina of Time, Castlevania Symphony of the Night, Rock Band

David Radd

Biz Senior Editor / Email
David Radd is a lifelong gamer, having been entranced from the first moment he saw Super Mario Bros. in action. He's been formally involved in the enthusiast media since 2004 and assumed his current responsibilities at GameDaily BIZ in 2006. A classic gamer at heart, David spends much more time playing his NES than he does playing any of the current-gen systems. His passion for games and journalism is perhaps only exceeded by his interest in fictional writing, and he is currently working on finishing up his first full book.

Top 3 Games: Uncharted Waters, Metal Gear Solid, Fallout
