Los Angeles (myFOXla.com) - Octuplets mom Nadya Suleman's former boyfriend, who was identified today on ABC's "Good Morning America," said she asked him to donate sperm and he wants to know if he is the father of her children.
"She really wanted to have kids," Dennis Beaudoin said this morning on GMA. "She asked me to donate sperm. ...I thought it was kind of out of the ordinary, but I cared about her so much, and we were in love."
Beaudoin, in his 20s, is married and has two sons. He said he dated Suleman for three years in the late 1990s, and that, on three occasions he donated to the sperm bank she used. He said he believes his sperm was used by Suleman to conceive the eight babies she delivered Jan. 23.
Beaudoin has said that even if the babies are not his, he would like to help Suleman raise them. He said he doesn't believe Suleman can raise the children alone.
Suleman, 33, has six other children from in-vitro fertilization. She has said both sets of children she has had came from the same sperm donor.
Suleman divorced her husband, Marcos Gutierrez, in January 2008, according to San Bernardino Superior Court records. According to the divorce records, they had no children.
