    @ Psy m on Vin Diesel is fantastic! You can't use that as an insult to the game. The problem with this game is that they thought they could take a 5 year old game, make it look shiny, tag another bit on it and then sell at full price. It just doesn't work like that. Probably won't buy until it comes down in price.

    Wow I'm glad I didn't pay much attention to my pc when that review was playing... I won't bash Kev for his mistake but yes I've noticed a series of misfortunate events with games that I've bought that gamespot has reviewed poorly on that I fondly enjoyed... Whats the deal? Is kev having a mid live criss or something?

    This game is junk. Tried to play the demo twice and the game froze up once and he got hung up on something and I could't move him the second time. Had to restart.

    Not the best review man. And the footage was terrible, it looked like somebody had just picked up the controller and didnt know what to do.

    Yeah i gotta say this reveiw is terrible. They ruined a plot point or two in the dark athena story. That shouldn't be in a review. But it works i guess

    I like Gamespot (not nearly as much as gametrailers and Giant Bomb) but the last few video reviews I've watched here have been horrible. I'm not talking about me disagreeing with the reviews themselves. I mean the video reviews are just poor. There's bad editing, usually a bad voice over (Kevin always sounds like he's reading a script with his weird emphases on certain words), and the video review doesn't ever really show anything a person trying to make a purchasing decision would need to see.

    loved this game for xbox back in 04 and love watching the riddik movies which are now out on bluray. if you love the movies or have played the original and dont own it, i suggest getting this version!

    i bought butcher bay in 2004 and loved it. i'm playing through it again, with its new look, and loving it. I cant wait to finish BB, so i can start dark athena. IMO, if dark athena sucks, then the remake of BB is still worth the money i spent.

    anyone looking for GOOD game reviews both modern and classic should check out 'classic game room' on youtube. just do a search for him. those are the way game reviews should be. i'd take his over gamespot anyday and his are FREE.

    Hmm, I don't quite understand the complaints with the Dark Athena bit, "contrived", fetch quests, balance, stilted pacing. But I'm definitely getting it, so hyped.

    We are talking about bunch of MGS fan boys reviewing other games. Donot get your hopes up watching their reviews, not very accurate. I stick to GT reviews, more general than personal opinions.

    Alright, thats it. I will NEVER again listen to any Gamespot reviews. They have lost they're once great touch. They simply do not know how to do reviews anymore. This is a fantastic package so how could they give it a 7.0?! It deserves at the very least an 8.0 or more.

    Riddick rocks.the new game rocks.i dont know what all this BS is about.its very dark and satisfying,very adult oriented,bloody,gritty,sneaky,just fun action with great level design and twists throught the whole game.im just defeated a boss which was very fun and i cant wait to get back and play.And why did they spend more time on EfBB that AoDA.this game gets a solid...A SOLID 8.5...7/10 is just BS.

    In my opinion it would of been better to make it a third person game we always get the feeling as if Riddick is a sneaky kind of individual that gets people by suprise we dont get the same satisfaction out of the game due to its 1st person view perspective.... i wont bother with buyin real one

    I havent played the original, but even so the gameplay footage gives an 8 alone for me and if its story and atmosphere is actualy the highlights an 8/10 should of been the minimum

    i wasnt blown away by the demo to be honest, dont know whether the demo is remade content or new as I never had the xbox game, only played a demo when it first came out. As this is pretty much it until wolverine i`ll problee get it anyway...

    I seem to always have troble getting the video going stright away. So I tend to read the comments first. Apears be safer to just avoid watching for the spoilers mentions all over.
