Game Boy Advance shipments hit 10 million in Europe

GBA only second to the PlayStation 2

Nintendo Europe has a reason to be jolly, with the Game Boy Advance shipping its ten millionth unit in the territory. (three million of which are GBA SP) The handheld console continues to sell well this holiday season, coming in second place after the PlayStation 2 in sales. Although other consoles have been plagued by a decline in year-to-year sales, the GBA has shown no signs of slowing down.

Disney Interactive's Finding Nemo is the top selling GBA title so far this holiday season, followed closely by Nintendo's Pokemon Ruby and Sapphire titles.
