Noftsinger was signed mid-season by the Freedom to the reserve squad, but was moved to the active roster to help in the middle after Lindsay Stoecker’s season ending knee injury in mid June ... Noftsinger took advantage of this opportunity – playing in five games, and starting four ... Noftsinger recorded her first WUSA assist in the Freedom’s 5-2 victory over Carolina on 7/31.

College:
Noftsinger played four years of college soccer at Wake Forest and was the University's first female athlete ever to be drafted by a professional sports team. She made an impact immediately at Wake, playing in all 21 games her rookie season ... In her senior year, Noftsinger was named second-team All-ACC and led the team with four assists ... She finished her career tied for fourth place in school history with 81 career games played and fifth all-time with 70 career games started. She also had 12 career goals and 13 career assists for the Demon Deacons.
