At Rogers High School (WA) Gibson was a three-year letter winner in both football and basketball. He played running back and receiver in high school and was the 39th-ranked athlete in 2005 by Rivals.com.
College Career
As a freshman in 2005 Gibson made five starts and was a key contributor on special teams. In 2006 he took over full-time starting duties at wide receiver. As a junior, he was a first-team All-Pac-10 selection. Gibson finished his career as Washington State's career leader in receiving yards (2,756).
Personal
Gibson's uncle, Vaughn Williams, played one season in the NFL with the Colts in 1984.
