Overview
Brandon Gibson is a wide receiver who was selected by the Philadelphia Eagles with the 194th overall pick in the sixth round of the 2009 NFL Draft. Gibson played for four years at Washington State University. Gibson is 6-feet, 1 inch tall and weighs 204 pounds.
Prep Career
At Rogers High School (WA) Gibson was a three-year letter winner in both football and basketball. He played running back and receiver in high school and was the 39th-ranked athlete in 2005 by Rivals.com.
College Career
As a freshman in 2005 Gibson made five starts and was a key contributor on special teams. In 2006 he took over full-time starting duties at wide receiver. As a junior, he was a first-team All-Pac-10 selection. Gibson finished his career as Washington State's career leader in receiving yards (2,756).
Personal
Gibson's uncle, Vaughn Williams, played one season in the NFL with the Colts in 1984.
