Ryan Torain, Slevin Young, 3 Free Agent pickups and our first pick in the draft all on the RB position.  6 of the 10 draft picks were used on offensive players.

So, tell me again.  Tell me again, after watching the Broncos the last 3 years, why we a

Oh my god, I have never seen so many whiny and negative people in my life.  You would think McDaniels commited some type of violent crime against some of the posters on this board.  I wasnt overly thrilled with some of the picks myself but get a freaking grip people.

I would encourage everyone to watch McDaniels press conferences for explanation of the picks.  They took t

I think I have an explanation as to why we traded away OUR pick next year, rather than the Chicago pick.

Now, Josh McDaniels said that he and his crew had a discussion about whether or not to make this a conditional pick. This would mean that no matter what happens, Seattle gets the lower of the 2 first rounders. They decided against it.

Obviously this goes against logic, but

I know one thing. I am going to be really mad next year when Seattle is on the clock with a top ten pick that should have been ours. I have no problems with the Moreno pick. I saw the guy play enough and he will be good. Denver should have went defense of course but i am sure young Josh got confused when Raji, Jackson, and Maybin were all taken. Yes, the trade up to get Quinn was terrible in the s ...(more)

The 2009 NFL Draft is over and needless to say there were some shocking decisions made that have most of us scratching our heads.  Below I have listed each Broncos draft pick and given my thoughts as to what I thought of each pick.

If you count trading away Cutler and trading away next year's No. 1, this wasn't a good first draft for the new regime, even if Moreno will be a star. C-

Analysis: This is high for him. I think Peria Jerry would have been a better option. But at least they went defense here.

Analysis: I love this kid. He will be a star. But the Broncos have so many needs on defense. How can they justify this?

Josh McDaniels comes to the Broncos with a reputation for offense and he has a heck of a guy to build around in Jay Cutler. The defense is the problem with this team. It has to be improved.
