  1. Keith,
Any news on a tea party in Tucson? I really want to participate.

  2. @Debby, as I understand it someone was working on planning one for Tucsan but not on Tax Day. We’ll certainly let you know if we hear of one happening on April 15th.

  3. Sounds like they are getting backlogged here with all the grassroots springing up. Here is a facebook group that is organizing Tucson in coordination with this group. Hopefully they will get a chance to post the info here soon.

  4. Yah, this is the group that Eric was talking about. It looks like they are talking about changing the date to the 15th.

  5. Adam, as mentioned above, it was decided that this site will only list events happening on April 15th. We proudly support any and all tea party events, but will only be listing events happening on tax day.

  6. Cool, Adam. Let us know if they change it.

  7. Would love to participate on April 15 in Central Arizona. Has anyone any information regarding that location?

  8. I’m organizing the one in Tucson, along with another group. I sent the info to Amy but it hasn’t been put up — probably because of the date issue. We have decided to do the protest on the 15th with a separate event either that weekend or next. If you guys could put up the info, that would be great!

  9. Robert, that is great but I see the Tucson Tea Party time on April 15th is from 11 a.m. - 1 p.m.

May I suggest changing the time to 4 pm to 6 or even 7 pm?

The reason is that you will have a lot more people who can’t get off work on a Wednesday but will come after they get off. I speak from experience.

  10. I think the time for Tucson is good. I will have to take a vacation day, but I will be there. I agree we need to plan for best turnout, but we also need to think about maximum exposure. 11-1 will be on the lunch break, with max traffic. At sometimes later, it will be almost dark outside with most having left the city. @ 11-1 it will also have time to hit the local news later that night.

  11. 4-6PM in Arizona on April 15th will still have daylight. It should be daylight till 7PM or later.

By JonnyAmerican on Mar 6, 2009 | Reply
  12. Another reason for afternoon is because people can often get off of work early.

  13. Conservatives still work! Plan the Phoenix tea party later in the day.People can get off work and join.

  19. Anyone interested in the Phoenix Tea Party can find up to date information listed at the following locations:

    http://www.americanpoliticalanalysis.com or http://www.facebook.com/group.php?gid=66128430756

We have picked the IRS building on Earl st as the location. We are just nailing down a time frame.

  20. I am looking forward to this event. My suggestion is that we go somewhere we can actually dump tea into. Also, we should hold the tea party from about 6 until sometime after dark, so that those who have to work can attend without having to leave early.

  21. To coordinate with Arizona Director for Americans for Prosperity, we are now moving the event to the AZ state capitol, and starting no earlier than 6 pm.

  22. **UPDATED** Phoenix time added and location changed

  23. ***UPDATE*** Phoenix and Tucson locations and/or times changed. Please review!!

  24. Both look good!

  35. Just wondering if we should make the Phoenix party a bit earlier…like 3pm or 4pm. One of our goals for this is to bring attention to our elected officials that we are tired of all of this and meeting at 6pm when they’ve all gone home seems a bit of a waste. Thoughts?

If you are ready for Real change, and not pocket change, please visit my website WilliamLee2014.ORG.
This will become a national election, and I need everyone’s help.

  38. Contact your local television news stations and your local government representatives, if they can be trusted. Times DO matter, there will be daylight in AZ through 7 PM, easily. There are likely many more potential attendees after normal work hours………..

By DMD on Mar 18, 2009 | Reply
  39. The problem with Tucson is that the downtown is DEAD after 5:00 pm. We are doing our best to keep it open for people to take long lunches, but to get noticed the protest has to be during business hours.

We are also hoping to get some of the local morning radio shows involved which would also necessitate the earlier start time.

  40. I think it is a waste of time to have the Phoenix Tea Party at 6:00 pm when all the lawmakers are home having cocktails. A morning or ealy afternoon when be a better time to catch some of these people, maybe even the Governer.

  44. I have emailed this website to my entire address book consisting of individuals across the country. If everyone would do the same we can cover most of the responsible people in this country! Who needs the MSM??? DO IT NOW!!!

If we just complain and do not get to the right pwoplw, we are shoutin gin the wind and no one will hear or get the ‘news’ to Washington. We must be large numbers and loud voices for America….suggestion: we dress in red, white and blue or other patriotic dress and carry flags!!!!!

  59. The government’s plan is not working. We can see that in each and every passing day. Americans need a fresh start to a new life. We need the same help to get OUR feet out of the quicksand that the government is giving to the companies that they choose to help try to get back on their feet.
Unfortunately, the government can give all of the bailouts to these companies that they want, and it still will not work unless WE the people have the financial means to continue to add surplus to the economy so that it can thrive. Without WE the people doing so, all the bailouts given to these companies will NOT matter. Once the “patch comes off the hole”, the water will come in again, and then what? The government continues to patch the holes but NEVER fixes the real problem.
Fix the boat! And that boat is the DEBT OF THE AMERICAN PEOPLE!
    BAILOUT THE AMERICAN PEOPLE!
The government should be bailing out the American people by paying down proportionate shares of our debts. WE will then be indirectly bailing out the same companies that the government is directly bailing out right now by paying down our debts. They would still be getting their money. But they would be getting it the fair, just and honest way. The way that is a win-win for everyone. We would have less debt and they would still get paid. But if we continue to do it the government’s way, and bail them out, while leaving us out, WE are losing it all. WE have nothing to gain.
The American Bailout, The Plan for Americans Made by Americans, can work. If we all join hands to show our support and sign the petition to being The American Bailout Plan to our government, WE can help to open the door to OUR nations NEW future.

  87. Clint, that’s a good point. The Gilbert rally is from Noon - 1:00 for those in the East Valley who can come by on their lunch hour. For my part, I plan to attend the Gilbert one AND the Phx one. I have a few neighbors who are doing the same so we can carpool. I’ve had a couple people ask about a Mesa rally and haven’t found any info on it yet. I agree that we should support the Phx one too, because the point is to draw as many people as possible.

There was a time when folks had to rely on family and the church to educate thier children, to help out when someone lost a job, ect… we need to get government out of our lives and go back to the days you gave money to the church to help take care of the people in your community not the government. Down with socialism, down with welfare, down with public schools, food stamps, all that mess… it’s ruining our country.

The Church can demand that gays stop practicing thier disgusting lifestyle, that people get right with God before we help them.

I live in Yuma too and, to my understanding, a tea party is being planned at the East Wetlands Park. You can read more about it here: http://freedomarizona.org/2009/03/27/local-tea-party-supporter-speaks-out-against-wasteful-spending/

  90. We will be at the London Bridge on the 15th with hundreds of other protesters. We HOPE.

  91. Now they are trying to stop our freedom of speech and Tea Parties. It is time to let our voices be heard and stop the government from continuing to give out the additional 7 trillion that it has allocated to give out to the agencies noted and to give that money to American families to absolve our debts. Which means it essential is given directly to the creditors on our behalf. We are not given that money to us as cash per say to use for other things.
By doing so, WE are paying off our debt, which is the reason why they are failing in the first place. Americans cannot afford to pay them due to the job loss and economic crisis that we are in. So they are getting help from the government from OUR money to try to stand. What good does that due if we ourselves cannot continue to bulster the economy by STILL having the same debt that they are being bailed out of and WE do not have the means to grow ourselves?

In a sense, they are trying to “double dip” us. They are getting the debt paid off from the government that we cannot afford to pay, however OUR debt still remains to them and we have to pay for that our of our own paychecks as well. They are getting paid TWICE for the same debt. The write off from our debt and our actual debt that still remains. If the same money that is already allocated was used to pay them, and OUR debt to them was then erased, we could then utilize the money that is still being paid to them from our pockets to begin to build back our lives, which in return, would also build onto theirs again.

It is a plan that has been mentioned on Glenn Beck long after The American Bailout was put together by Americans. If he thought of it as well and has questioned as to why no one has done it, then apparently, it must be something that people believe can work. Hopefully, the support from the American people will be bold enough to bring it into congress so that they too can ask themselves…why haven’t we done this……maybe it’s time we should.

WE Can Take Back OUR America!

Due to the MASSIVE response being generated by the internet, talk radio, and local organizations, the TUCSON TEA PARTY is changing the venue to accommodate the much larger crowd than was originally anticipated. We now have two radio stations who will be broadcasting on-location and live. If you don’t know what that means, it means this is getting huge :)

Below is the new information. Please note that the location and time have changed slightly:

    TUCSON TAXPAYER TEA PARTY:
    WHO: Tucson Taxpayer Tea Party
WHAT: Protest against trillions of dollars in government spending
WHERE: Downtown Tucson, in El Presidio Park at 115 North Church St.
    WHEN: April 15, 2009. 9 a.m. - 1 p.m.+

I’m asking for either City Hall or (preferably) Community Park (right next to the highway). I could use some help. If you live nearby, email me at patrick.beck@marchforliberty.org and we’ll make this happen.

  103. Randy–I was thinking that in front of Gabby Giffords Office would be a good place. I’m not sure that the City fathers will be willing to give a “permit” for the Veterans Park only because they didn’t give one to the Vietnam Wall, but they might. There is also in front of City Hall–lots of space there–and my suggestion to the town in Fla was to utilize the sidewalks from one end of town to the other. Start at the park and line Fry in either direction to the fort. Can you imagine driving on Fry to the PO and seeing hundreds lineing both sides of the street!! Awsome!! For me it would have to be early so that I can get to Phoenix at 5pm. I feel that the one in Phoenix is the one that will make the most impact on the national scene. Besides, the people on the eastern side of the US have had thousands. Since AZ is till the “wild west” and the leader in anti illegal immigration legislation I think we can show our “independence” and make it tens of thousands. Each of the AZ Tea Parties should also plan to have a contingent at the Capitol, with signs, as an indication of unification throughout the state. Please post what you’ve done or are willing to do. I’ll help.

  110. Why TAX DAY tea parties? I think a very relevant but mostly ignored point was made a couple of weeks ago. I think everyone can recall at least once in previous years, if not every year how the NEWS covers the rush to get our tax envelopes post marked before it is to late. The point was made that tax day tea parties should be held at these POST OFFICE locations, as the news will already be their, making it difficult for them to ignore. Unfortunately, most tea parties are not scheduled for post office locations; your tea party locations should be adjusted if possible.

It would also be helpful to unify the message and if this site has not produced the top ten wish list yet, then I suggest your signs read “The9/12Project.com” “Americas Wish List” Follow or Fail”.

  140. Memorial For America - Light A Candle For America

On Memorial Day, May 25th, 2009; the world will remember and mourn the loss of the many veterans that have gone to war
to support our country, The United States of America.

We will pray for these fearless men and women who gave so selflessly of themselves to protect, honor and serve OUR country.
They fought for the land that we call America. They fought for the right to live in our free world. They fought so that WE would not have to fight. Sadly, the world that they fought so very hard for is slowly diminishing before our eyes.

WE, as Americans, CANNOT continue to allow this to happen to OUR country, to OUR economy, and to OUR future.

So on this Memorial Day (May 25, 2009) thousands of Americans will also be mourning the rapid decline of the great country
    that we all once knew.

The “Memorial For America” will display both our sorrow and our faith for our country.

TOGETHER,WE CAN LIGHT THE WAY FOR OUR AMERICA TO COME HOME!

Please go to: http://www.MemorialForAmerica.com for more information on joining Americans for this event.

    Dearest Moonbat,
Obviously you are not of the same opinion as others who are posting here. I would politely ask you to respect our right to free speech, our right to assemble in peaceful protest, and our frustration with our government. These rallies are NONPARTISAN and definitely not attacks on Bush, Obama, or any other elected official. There is no doom and gloom, the sky is falling, antichrist at these rallies (I’ve been there to know, have you?) – But that apparently makes no difference to you and nothing “we” say or do will change your mind. That being said, your vulgar attack, name calling and mockery will not deter our patriotic spirit and only emboldens us to band together every more tightly against the growing insanity we see around us.

May God bless American and all of her inhabitants – even you, Moonbat.

  154. “Blessed is the nation whose God is the LORD.” (Psalm 33:12a)
“The wicked shall be turned into hell, and all the nations that forget God.” Psalm 9:17
“At what instant I shall speak concerning a nation, and concerning a kingdom, to pluck up, and to pull down, and to destroy it; If that nation, against whom I have pronounced, turn from their evil, I will repent of the evil that I thought to do unto them. And at what instant I shall speak concerning a nation, and concerning a kingdom, to build and to plant it; If it do evil in my sight, that it obey not my voice, then I will repent of the good, wherewith I said I would benefit them.” Jeremiah 18:7-10
God’s rule over governments is not limited to Israel. These passages teach that God blesses nations who serve Him as Lord, and judges nations that forget Him and do not serve Him. In the second Psalm, God visits judgments upon those nations whose leaders defy God’s rule. The books of the prophets warn of severe judgments for sin upon many nations besides Israel. In Deuteronomy 4:5-6, God tells Israel that surrounding Gentile nations will see the wisdom of their law. Israel’s law was to be a light to the Gentile nations, to call them from sin to God, from judgment to blessing.
“Which God?” the secularists rebut, as if casting aspersions upon the true God by bringing idols up to his level will abate our obligation to obey Him. There is only one God, and the Holy Bible is His revelation to mankind. It is to Him we owe supreme allegiance, both as individuals and as a nation.
“But we have a separation of church and state” the attorneys rebut. The separation of powers of the church and state is a Christian doctrine, for the truth is found in Scripture, in the relationship between the Jewish religion and the leaders of their state. However, it should never be a separation of God and state, for this is sin and rebellion to God. The First Amendment states, “Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, nor prohibiting the free exercise thereof.” Congress, not Ohio. As a matter of fact, the states who signed the Constitution had tax-subsidized Christian denominations, and this was not a violation of the First Amendment as our founders intended it. Even the leaders of the federal government publicly prayed to the God of the Bible and spent taxpayer dollars for the printing and distribution of Bibles in public schools. This was not a violation of the First Amendment as our forefathers intended it. Even our Supreme Court, in 1892, citing a plethora of historical evidence, said, “This is a Christian nation.” This judicial decree did not defy the First Amendment as our forefathers intended it. The First Amendment was intended to prevent a tax-subsidized Christian denomination, such as England’s Anglican church. The First Amendment was not intended to prevent the free exercise of religion for the states and the people, as it is so often abused today, but rather, was designed to protect the free exercise of their religion.

The Holy Bible, God’s Word to man, speaks to all matters of life; not just pertaining to personal salvation, but also to economic health, family life, the right to self defense, the right to liberty and property, criminal justice, the role and limitation of civil authorities, the relationship between the church and the state, and when armed revolution against established civil authority is justified. Where God speaks, we would be wise to listen and obey, for disobedience to God’s Word in a single matter is rebellion to God and brings judgment. He is a jealous God who will not share His glory with another. When we despise His Word in deference to autonomous leaders who seek to kick God out of His throne and put themselves there in His stead, we have already received “the mark of the beast”, for the mark is a man’s name and a sign that you worship the image of a man over God (Revelation 13-16).
When put in light of the Scripture and the lordship of Christ, we see that the whole world is a theocracy, for God rules over all and His Word is not bound. It is also easy to see that our government has become a godless government at war with God. The United States must repent, and serve the Creator instead of rebel against Him. We must obey His Word. We must not defer to sinful men who seek to pass laws that defy God’s law, who refuse to be “ministers of God” and “a revenger to execute wrath upon him that doeth evil” as God’s Word instructs civil authorities (Romans 13:3-4). It is not those who take the mark who survive the wrath of God, it is those who resist idols to serve the one true God and His Son Jesus Christ.
America, choose you this day whom you will serve.

Our representative government elected the other party. Responding with paranoid rhetoric and misplaced analogies will not propel the GOP or conservatives to any point of credibility any time soon.

Just think what could happen if the right would only channel their energy into something constructive, instead of always going against what is best for the country. America would actually be what she once was. Instead, they do nothing but try to manipulate things to benefit a select few, to the detriment of the rest of the nation.

Let the Government know how you feel and your desire to put this county back on track while you can. 2 Chronicles 7: 14 if My people who are called by My name will humble themselves, and pray and seek My face, and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin and heal their land. Please…

  169. clearhead- We believe freedom is what is best for the vast majority of Americans. If only 10% of Mr Obama’s supporters now reget having voted for him, a majority of voters now oppose spending like this. Maybe we needed change, but not THIS change. Socialism values equality at the expense of accountability and freedom, and the wealthy will be replaced by a poltical elite who thinks they know best. I understand how they think… I used to be one of them. I had the courage to “question authority” and realised i was wrong then, and i can make amends for it by protesting now in favor of Freedom. If we are successful, everyone, including you, will benefit.

In fact I have a large number of friends who voted in the current admin and they are not happy either and will be there on tax day. Perhaps the analogy is due to what a a group of citizens did to change how they and their money were being treated by their government. While it is not a direct connection, the idea rings true. We need to get them to stop the wasteful spending and have to take the responsibility to demand it!!!

  194. Hey Clearhead, I was a life-long Dem until this mess went out of control. This is the result of corruption on both sides, like it or not. The Dems have controlled Congress for 2 years & it’s thanks to folks like Blow-hard Frank-in-Pork, Crook Dudd, & Peloser that things are now spiraling down. There’s plenty of blame on both sides, however, anyone who has taken junk funds for garbage projects, who has not done the jobs they were elected to do, namely oversight & the public trust. The Tea Party is the opportunity for people of reason from all walks to come together & say we’ve had enough. Just because one party won all the toys doesn’t make what they’re doing right - just like when this country was founded! Two of my direct ancestors fought in the Revolution, several branches came on the Mayflower & I’ll not have what they sacrificed for be flushed for ANY “good” cause.

Wake up, this isn’t about right or left, this is about right & wrong, being held accountable & responsible for one’s actions when done in the name of We the People. Our politicians need to live up to this, our media needs to be held to it & our children must be taught it.

There are 40 millions working Americans 50 years of age and older.

Give each of them 1 million dollars with the following stipulations.

1.0 They must retire, Results there are 40 million jobs open, unemployment problem solved.

2.0 They must buy a brand new American made car from one of the Big 4 automakers, results, the auto industry is bailed out and production speeds up.

3.0 They must buy a home or pay off their mortgages in full. Results, the financial entities are back in business with money to lend.

Total cost, 40 million Results, problems solved. Oh but where will Obama get his kickbacks from? Oh chit, another problem to be solved! Well I guess all the folks above could give him a buck.

The Tucson Party has been extended to 2, but in order to get maximum exposure downtown, it had to be in the morning. Additionally there are two morning radio shows broadcasting live from the event.

The next event will be held at a date or time more conducive to those unable to attend for work reasons. Some people are getting the day off, asking them to do that twice is stretching it.

  222. Steve, it surprised me, too, that Mesa isn’t having one. Come to the Gilbert one, just down the road! It’s being held during the lunch hour. And if you can, head on down to the Phoenix one in the evening. Check out ArizonaTeaParty.com for a printable invitation and directions to the Gilbert rally.

Even if you don’t smoke you can see how he is not raising taxes(income) on the middle class. 70-75 percent of smokers and beer drinkers are low to middle class here is where he is gonna get us. And whats this about soda. Try taxing video games to get the lazy generation off their butts and outside.

One man had a great suggestion……most of us have already mailed our returns…but he said mail a blank one in with zeros on it…..and just say “you can’t spend what I don’t send” the IRS will go nuts with that one….they have to open them and process them. I must say for the first time in my life I am scared…..the Government is out of control…this president and Congress could have us in a full depression before we ever get the chance to vote them out of Office or retire the incumbents from office in less than a year and a half….I love this Country with my whole heart and soul……I pray we can make a difference…….WE THE PEOPLE……ONE NATION UNDER GOD…I WANT AMERICA BACK…LETS JOIN TOGETHER AND MAKE A STAND!!!!!

I am, however, sending in my teabags to both Mr. Obama and to Jan Brewer, who has been a total disappointment ever since becoming Governor. Instead of cutting off assistance to ILLEGALS (and don’t tell me its a Federal matter), or freezing the pay of elected officials - especially of the Goddards, Rios, and Sinemas in our midst, she chooses to punish us, the citizens. She needs that kind of message.

If there is anything else I could do besides sending in the tea bags, do let me know.

I just returned from one & it was confirmed by ATF this morning that there will be undercover folks there taking pix of attendees, attempting to get names. Also there will be those attending whose purpose is NOT to support the USA but to incite violence to make the movement look bad.

Has anyone heard of anyone trying to make trouble anywhere yet? I have heard and read so many disgusting reports from the mainstream media today, that I wanted to make sure to be prepared. Of course, since this is Arizona, I know that the usual ACORN whackos and others with agendas won’t try to make trouble since they don’t know who they’re messing with!

  259. I just came back from the Tea Parties in Cottonwood and Sedona. Windy and cold but a great turnout at both places! Only two lonely catcalls from passing cars in over two hours at Cottonwood. One lone woman tried to make trouble but the Cottonwood police kept her from getting anywhere near the demonstrators. We received many, many honks of support from passing motorists.

The Sedona Tea Party was a little smaller but again, we received a lot of support from passing cars - even one police vehicle. Only one cat-call. Not bad for a town full of liberals! Everyone at both events was vocal but well-behaved. WELL DONE TO YOU ALL!

I was leaving Tombstone, having run an errand after stopping at the Tea Party, I found it odd that there was a bus for the Tucson Unified School District parked next to the park with the orange jumpsuit guys picking up trash. MANY unmarked black trucks, very new, with flashing red/yellow lights like police. Not certain what that was about but very disturbing after some of what I heard from some of the folks in town.

  263. It is so great that the people are coming together! It is way past time though! We keep voting in those ignorant politicians, and they keep on doing the same thing year after year. Stealing money from the people and lining their own pockets! I wanted to join in the Tea Party anywhere today, but I am still recuperating from some major surgery, but I will put forth my support however I can!! Another thing to rise up against, not only about the tax increases the government keeps putting on us, to account for their overspending, but the amount of money you get when your on disability or sickness benefits! With the daily strap around us while earning a regular paycheck, you should try and live off the medical sickness benefits!! I make a decent wages for today’s economy, and I pay into a retirement fund and more goes into a medcal fund. I am only allowed $61.00 a day from the money I paid into to supplement my wages while on sick leave. Then the stupid government still taxes that while I am out of work!! Approximately $500.00 every 2 weeks!! How in the world is anyone able to live on that kind of income? Yes, I know there are people out there doing it, but I sure don’t know HOW they do it!! The government needs to stop stealing from the people and stop supplying the Big CEO’s and Banks, who created this mess, the stimulus money!! Wake up People! Time to make a stand!!

APRIL 18TH FOR THOSE WHO HAD TO WORK…..IT IS NOT POSTED ARE THEY HAVING ONE? because if they are I will go to it……Our ex-governor Janet Napolitano is saying that this is not a grass roots movement, but is being paid for by the republican GOP….I say NO……all the people I saw are average Americans that are fed up…….this is real…..No body could have planned an event like this…….the people are just sick and tired of OUT OF CONTROL GOVERNMENT….THEY GIVE BILLIONS TO WRONG DOERS….and give us $13.00….already the states are raising taxes on fuel, sales tax, cigarettes, beer etc…I have lost double the $13.00 Barack gave me just in increased taxes in this state. …Janet says we are RIGHT WING RADICALS…..by the way how did she get appointed to HOMELAND SECURITY….she could not even keep Arizona borders safe when she was governor??????I am heartsick at the bias media….saying a few hundred disgruntled people showed up……I saw thousands…….San Antonio had 16,000 and Texas had 56 tea parties……Arizona had great turnouts From Tucson to Sedona and way beyond ……..people across this Nation came out in wind, rain, cold just to say NO……how can the media down play this Event???? We need to write our representatives and the white House and keep this thing alive….How about another rally on Memorial Day…..the 4th of July….all night Vigils….I am worried we will never make it to the next election to Vote out our non-representative officials…..they could bankrupt this country before we can stop them…….I hope this GROWS and GROWS….

  267. I was very happy to see the large turnout for the Phoenix Tea Party. Hopefully we can raise funds to make improvements for future gatherings. We need a better sound system so speakers can be heard by the entire crowd. It would also be nice if we had some music between speakers. Music helps people feel connected …. the crowd pretty much stuck to themselves … not a lot of interaction. Also…I’d like to see the message be not just an opposition to higher taxes but WHY we oppose them. The opposition is to WASTING the money we send to DC!

Thousands of supporting honks as people drove down Fry Blvd. Only 2 shouts for pro-Obama and a couple of middle fingers but no problems at all–just a bunch of peaceful patriots united to become a voice against socialism. Thanks to everyone who participated!!!

Over 2000 cities and hundreds of thousands of people…I say we can not let it die here. Do you remember 911…..Patriots all over this country flew there flags…got bumper stickers….even flags on their cars …as a show of support for our nation…why can’t this grass roots movement do the same? Put a flag up in your front yard…flag on your car or a bumper sticker…show unity..honk at each other when you see a fellow american doing the same….Let’s show them we are real American Patriots…….I heard a wonderful qoute today……”When Americans fear their government it is called tyranny….but when a government fears its constiuency it is called LIBERTY!!!!!

  271. Obama not “being aware” of the tea party movement is really very much like a child sticking their fingers in their ears, and going “La-la-la” so they don’t have to listen to something they don’t want to hear. Quite similar, really, to his promises to bring “hope”, and their likeness to the kid running for class president who promises free icecream every Friday, if elected. We have a kid running our country!
