Looking for Specific Topics?
In the top/right corner of each page, you'll find a "Search"
option. Using it is as easy as typing in a keyword and pressing
enter. There's also a link to perform more advanced

Publications
HUD USER makes available research, reports, executive summaries,
case studies, and guidebooks spanning the fields of housing
and urban development. Most of the publications
are available in Adobe Portable Document Format (PDF), which
allows the document to be downloaded, viewed, and printed
with all of its original formatting and graphics. The publications can also be ordered online
at the HUD

HUD USER publishes a series of three periodicals that support

Data Sets
HUD USER provides researchers with access to the original
electronic data sets generated by PD&R-sponsored data
collection efforts. These include the American Housing Survey,
HUD Median Family Income Limits, Fair Market Rents, and Low-Income
Housing Tax Credit Data. This data is provided in various
formats, including PDF, Excel, Word and Self-Extracting (exe)

Bibliographic Database
The HUD USER Bibliographic Database is the only database
exclusively dedicated to housing and community development
issues. It contains more than 10,000 abstracts and citations of research
reports, articles, books, monographs, and data sources in
the fields of housing policy, building technology, economic development,

HUD USER maintains one print-based and four electronic mailing
lists to keep our constituents informed of new housing research
