- Some relatives of Virgina Tech shooting victims weren’t pleased with yesterday’s announcement of a memorial concert featuring Dave Matthews Band, John Mayer, Phil Vassar and Nas. At least seven families have expressed concern that Nas’ violent lyrics are inappropriate considering the circumstances of the show. School officials have said the overall response to the lineup has been positive, and there are no plans to change it.
