Free 60 and Over Swimming
From 1 April 2009 everybody 60 and over will be entitled to swim for free at published public swimming sessions at Swindon Borough Councils’ leisure centres. The scheme is part of a national campaign to promote swimming, general fitness, more active lifestyles and well-being.

Dorcan Sports Complex is hosting the Swindon Parachallenge 2009.
Sunday 7 June 2009.
10.00am - 4.00pm
This is a disability sports event consisting of two football tournaments (powerchair and Ability Counts) and 'have a go' activities including:
Swimming sessions, Tennis workshops, Basketball sessions, Frisbee golf, Chi Kung/Tai Chi and a climbing wall.
This year's event will be invitation only during the morning but the afternoon activities will be open to anyone with a disability, from 5 year olds to adults, just turn up and play for free!

How to Find Us
Dorcan Recreation Complex is situated to the east of Swindon.

Follow the sign posts from Swindon centre to Covingham, along Dorcan Way. Turn left into Kingfisher Drive and then right into St Paul's Drive. Dorcan Recreation Complex is situated in the Dorcan Technology College (school) grounds.
From Swindon Bus Station, service 1 stops outside Dorcan Recreation Complex.
From Swindon Railway Station it is a short distance to the bus station (see above).
