WILDLIFE ON WHEELS (WOW)


The Memphis Zoo's WOW program brings "a little zoo to you!" The WOW team uses a heavy dose of enthusiasm along with biofacts and live animals to deliver a program your group won't soon forget. WOW programs are presented throughout the year and are perfect for schools, scouts, retirement centers, businesses and more!

WOW Programs for Small Flocks

Program descriptions for small groups with a maximum of 40 people (adults included). All programs, except preschool options, are 45 - 60 minutes in length. Select your grade level: Pre-K/K, grades 1-2, grades 3-6, and grades 7-12, or pick a WOW program for other ages. We have special programs available for birthday parties, too!

   Winter Wonders
   Ever wonder what animals do in the winter to survive the colder weather? Explore the wintry animal
   world with out animal ambassadors and learn a trick or two!This program can be tailors to any age.

Pre K/K

Preschool programs have a maximum of 30 children and are approximately 30 minutes in length.

A Book and A Beast

Your group will experience wonderful storytelling and meet a live animal star. Choose from a beautiful bird, marvelous mammal or a radical reptile.

Take a closer look at who is making all that nighttime noise. Discover all the interesting facts about owls including "whoo" they hunt as we dissect owl pellets.
