BOXING: Chisora banned for biting

Rising star Derek Chisora will have to wait for his British heavyweight title shot after being suspended for four months for biting an opponent.

Chisora bit Paul Butlin during the fifth round of their May 22 contest at the York Hall in Bethnal Green.

The referee missed the incident but TV replays proved conclusive and Chisora, also fined £2,500 for the incident, will miss out on facing Danny Williams.

Kotelnik happy to go green

Andreas Kotelnik has revealed spinach will play a key role in the build-up to his big title fight with Lancastrian Amir Khan in London on June 27.

The 31-year-old has been tucking into the iron-rich plant three times a day ahead of his WBA light-welterweight title defence at the O2 Arena.

Ukrainian Kotelnik said: "People call me Popeye back home. If they met Amir, they'd compare him to Olive Oyl!"
