What was I doing during all those long months spent in quarantine? Well, I was trying (repeatedly) to put together a podcast worth listening to.
That never happened, but I did finally manage to cobble together multiple disparate pieces into something listenable.

We start 2020 by looking back at the decade just passed, with me spotlighting a different artist and track for each year 2010-2019.
While I’m not necessarily saying that these were the absolute best releases of the year—or even my overall favorites—I feel like each is noteworthy, saying something different about the styles, sounds, and overall musical evolution of the twenty-teens.
Hopefully, you’ll hear some of your favorites and maybe even find a couple you missed along the way.
2019 may not’ve been my best year, but it certainly wasn’t my worst—and that’s something. Now it’s nearly gone and we look forward with hope and uncertainty to 2020.
But before we make that jump forward into the ‘20s, let’s take a moment to enjoy some music from Crayondroids, D&D Sluggers, and DJ Earworm.
