Information round 2008

Following Royal Assent to the Crossrail Act in July 2008, an information round was held along the route of the railway from September to October.

The aim of the 2008 information round was to inform members of the public that the construction of Crossrail had now been approved, and to provide details of the forthcoming programme and the pattern of services which will be provided.

Mike Gapes, MP for Ilford South, and Chairman of the Crossrail All-Party Parliamentary Group, visited the Ilford Crossrail Information centre at Redbridge Town Hall on 11 September.
