Bottom line: A lot of people love Crystal Castles' live show-- they love the seizure-inducing lights, the Nintendo-via-hell beats, and the sweaty flailing of singer Alice Glass. Some of those people were very amped to see the duo perform at Dallas' Granada Theater on Tuesday, and were therefore very bummed when the show was canceled at the last minute. One of several fans who wrote us claimed to have waited in line outside the venue for three hours to no avail. He wasn't alone. And that sucks.

The botched gig sparked a flame war between Crystal Castles, the Granada Theater, and CC openers Vega. It's pretty convoluted, so let's deal with each side post-jump:
