The Burnaby Computing Science Office is located on the main floor of the Applied Sciences Building (ASB), to the west of the main staircase in the middle of the ASB atrium. The ASB itself is situated at the western edge of the campus, due south of the Bus Loop. Please refer to our Burnaby Campus Map when you get close to campus. Parking onsite is free for staff and faculty who are coming to SFU Burnaby on official university business.
One day parking passes are available at the CS reception desk in Burnaby or at the CS reception desk in Surrey.

The direct bus routes to SFU - Burnaby are:
Skytrain passengers get to the Burnaby campus on the Millennium Line. Get off at the Production Way/University Station, then transfer to the #145 SFU (145 PRODUCTION WAY/UNIVERSITY for return trip).
Note: For the closest bus stop to the ASB, disembark at the bus loop (2nd stop once you're on campus). Just walk south down the path beside the waterfall and you're there!

The School of Computing Science offices are located on Galleria 4 of the new SFU Surrey campus, which is part of the Surrey Central Mall - the reception area is located in room 4100. If arriving by transit, enter the mall off of 102nd Avenue. There are signs to direct you to the Mezzanine level of the campus. From there, take the escalator up to Galleria 3, then the stairs to Galleria 4 - we are located on the east side of the campus. When you get closer to the Surrey campus, please refer to our maps of the Surrey Campus and surrounding area.

Please note that there is no longer any free parking at SFU Surrey. University and mall tenants are not entitled to the 3-hour free parking. Visitors and guests coming to SFU Surrey for lectures and special events should be directed to park on level P5 of the parkade as this is designated for visitor parking. University and mall tenants parking costs $2 per hour from 6:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., with an evening flat rate of $3.00 after 6:00 p.m. The meter is inside the stair/elevator vestibule on level P5. The meter accepts coins or credit cards. Voucher tickets are dispensed to be displayed on the dashboard of the vehicle.
Diamond Parking patrols and enforces all parking areas at Central City. Vehicles with no parking pass will be ticketed. Note, the sign on P5 indicates that parking violation charges are $65.00.

If you have colleagues from Burnaby or Vancouver or other institutions coming for a meeting at SFU Surrey, please contact the Burnaby or Surrey CS Reception desk for a Day Pass for parking. The Day Pass must be placed on the dash of the vehicle to be visible by the parking attendants. With a pass, parking is allowed on the rooftop outside the mezzanine level or on P3 or P4 of the parkade. P1, P2 and P5 are not available for decal or day pass parkers.

The Surrey campus is most easily accessible by SkyTrain on the Expo line heading in the direction of the King George terminus station.
Get off at the Surrey Central City station. SFU Surrey is located in Surrey Central Mall directly across 102 Avenue. Enter Central City via the mall's north entrance, and follow the SFU Surrey signs up the stairs to the open mezzanine area. There are security/information desks located atop the stairs to the mezzanine and also at the base of the Central City office tower where you can ask for directions.
The Vancouver campus currently offers computing science courses but does not have
a Computing Science office. Please refer to Student Services or to the Security
desk for information on classroom locations. The Vancouver campus is situated right
in downtown Vancouver city, at the corner of Hastings and Richards. For a map of the

Public parking is available at many locations near SFU Vancouver’s Harbour Centre campus. Street parking is free after 8 pm. The closest parking lot is at 400 West Cordova Street. See the Parking Map for more details. Parking is free for staff and faculty who are coming to SFU Vancouver on official university business. Contact the SFU Burnaby CS Front Office for reimbursement of your parking fees.
